About this Mod

Functionality

LocateBiome adds the /locatebiome from the vanilla 1.16 snapshots to 1.15.2 and 1.14.4 (no, I will not port this to other versions). It will print the coordinates of the closest biome the player specified in the command to chat (see "Usage" below). This mod only needs to be installed on the server to work, however it will also work on the client.

Usage

Example: /locatebiome minecraft:plains

You can substitute minecraft:plains with any vanilla or modded biome. The command will suggest you all possible biomes that you can insert here.
The message that this command will print, if successful in finding the given biome, contains a clickable green text which will prepare a teleport command to the found coordinates which contain the searched biome.

How to Install LocateBiome on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.15.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "LocateBiome". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
