Locator Colors is a client-side mod that grabs the colors from player waypoints and applies them everywhere, so you can always tell who is who at a glance.
Features
- Colored Chat & Tab Menu: Player names in chat and the player list will automatically match their assigned waypoint color.
- Colored Name Tags: The nameplate floating above a player's character in the world will match their waypoint color.
- Better Locator Markers: Open the player list to display player heads instead of dots, surrounded by a border of their waypoint color.
- Fully Customizable: Don't like one of the features? Every single feature can be turned on or off individually through the config screen.

How to Install Locator Colors on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Locator Colors". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Locator Colors server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
