This mod allows you to change Minecraft's built-in LAN player limit of 8. This includes but is not limited to the Essentials Mod which when hosting, also uses this built-in limit.

About this Mod
LAN PLAYER LIMIT MODIFIER
Also known as LPLM, this mod allows you to change Minecraft's built-in LAN player limit of 8. This includes but is not limited to the Essentials Mod which when hosting, also uses this built-in limit. This Mod also has ModMenu support (OPTIONAL) to configure the player limit. No other players need this installed, only the host does.
MOD SUPPORT
If the config cannot be accessed using ModMenu, the configuration file is located in the instance root then /config/lplm.json
This Mod has only been tested on versions:
- MC 1.21.1 (fabric loader 0.17.2)
- MC 1.21.8 (fabric loader 0.17.2)
- MC 1.21.10 (fabric loader 0.17.2)
- MC 1.21.11 (fabric loader 0.18.4)
- MC 26.1.2 (fabric loader 0.19.2)

How to Install LAN Player Limit Modifier (LPLM) on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "LAN Player Limit Modifier (LPLM)". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
