About this Mod

Fixes a crash when using LWJGL 3.3.0+ on older versions on MacOS.

The crash happens because Minecraft tries to set an app icon for Minecraft, which is unsupported on MacOS. Previously, this did nothing, but in LWJGL 3.3.0+, it causes a crash.

This mod does not add an app icon to Minecraft, it simply stops Minecraft from trying to add an icon, preventing the crash. If you want the app icon to be fixed, Chameleon in later versions might be better suited for you. This mod was made to be a simple fix that doesn't require the Fabric API.

How to Install MacOS LWJGL Fix on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.17.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "MacOS LWJGL Fix". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
