About this Mod

Makan introduces a magic system that uses writing kanji to cast spells. Using a character recognition system and the Grimoire, the player gets to practice brushstrokes and learn what kanji mean by manifesting their meanings as structures, attacks, entities, etc. The mod currently has about 40 spells, ranging from the ability to shoot fire, summon mountains, generate utility structures like bridges and houses, use telekinesis, and even fight Godzilla. The progression is really fast and players can begin practicing kanji and casting spells almost immediately. The mod is also very customizable, allowing players to configure each spell. Requires Geckolib!

How to Install Makan on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Makan". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
