McCore is the heart of a growing ecosystem designed to bring a deep, MMO-inspired RPG experience to Fabric. It serves as the primary engine and dependency for a suite of mods that collectively transform Minecraft into a progressive, skill-based adventure.
By itself, McCore handles the "heavy lifting"—managing player data and skill leveling curves.
The Ecosystem
- McGather (Available Now): The first module to utilize this engine. It provides skill progression for activities like woodcutting, mining, excavating, fishing, herbalism and smelting.
- McCombat (In Progress): A dedicated combat overhaul focusing on weapon proficiencies and specialized combat abilities.
- McMisc (Planned): In mind but no big plans.
Ecpectations
- Bossbars: See your level progression on every XP gain.
- Skills: Tree Feller, Insta Mine, Insta Dig, Mob Hooking, Sneaky Growth, Fuel Efficiency.
- Ranking: Top player lists ingame.
Commands
/mcstats: View your current levels and overall Power Level./mcstats <skill>: Get a deep dive into a specific skill, including descriptions of unlocked and upcoming abilities./mctop <skill>: View the leaderboard for a specific skill or global Power Level.

McCore officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.10, 1.21.9. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with McCore – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if McCore consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
