mediatransport
Hex Casting - Figura Server Backend interop addon
About this Mod
mediatransport is an addon to Hex Casting and Figura (and optionally MoreIotas or Hexpose) that enables communication between hexes and avatars.
Warning!
This addon (and FSB in general) only works on dedicated servers (not singleplayer or Open to LAN.) Because Modrinth doesn't have a way to indicate "client + dedicated server only", this project is marked as "client & server".
Setup
This addon relies on Figura Server Backend, which is currently only available in development versions of Figura. You can get your hands on a build directly from their GitHub Actions (note: requires login to GitHub.)
You'll need to install Figura, Hex, and mediatransport on the server.

Server lagging with mediatransport – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if mediatransport consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
