About this Mod

This is a very small, simple mod that lets you mine Glowstone faster using a pickaxe. Glowstone could be mined with a pickaxe back in Beta 1.7.3, and it was honestly quite a dumb decision of them to change that, as its super convenient being able to mine Glowstone faster with a pickaxe.

Also, as a little extra convenience, Glowstone will always drop 4 Glowstone Dust when mined without Silk Touch.

How to Install Mine Glowstone With Pickaxes on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Mine Glowstone With Pickaxes". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
