About this Mod

A quick and dirty data pack to load a 3x3 chunk space around every minecart in the world. It works by removing a 5x5 chunk of space from the /forceload list, and then adding a 3x3 chunk space around the minecart. This method is unsafe for use if the minecart path has it travelling past other forceloaded chunks that are not replaced. This is to prevent minecarts from ever stopping at unloaded chunks.

How to Install Minecarts Load Chunks on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Minecarts Load Chunks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
