This project has been discontinued in favour of other Minecraft mod managers, such as Ferium. If you would like to take over the GitHub project, please let me know.

First Launch
- Backup your existing mods
- Install this mod
- At the Minecraft home screen, click on the "Mods" button
- Click on the square button at the top right (with the settings icon)
- Add mods either by searching for them, pasting in a URL, or adding them locally to the
mods-localfolder - Click the "Relaunch Minecraft" button
Future Launches
Start Minecraft normally and watch the mods automatically update! Required dependencies are automatically downloaded as well.
Important Notes
The mods folder will be cleared on each run! If you want to add your own jar files, put them in the mods-local folder instead.

How to Install Minecraft Mod Updater on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.3).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Minecraft Mod Updater". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Minecraft Mod Updater server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Minecraft Mod Updater compatible with fabric?
Minecraft Mod Updater officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.19.3, 1.19.2, 1.19.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Minecraft Mod Updater – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Minecraft Mod Updater consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
