About this Mod

This is a small tweak that allows all living entities to be affected by the Blindness debuff. By default, an entity will have a 0.15x multiplier applied to its detection range per level of Blindness it has. This value is configurable, and can range from 0.01x to 0.99x. The multiplier stacks with other detection range modifiers, such as sneaking or wearing mob heads.

How to Install Mob Blindness on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.17.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Mob Blindness". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
