About this Mod

River Generation for Modern Beta Forge 1.12.2!

An add-on for Modern Beta Forge for 1.12.2 (versions 1.8.0.0 or later) which adds river generation for Beta, Alpha, Infdev 20100611, and Pocket Edition terrain generators.

Usage

Navigate to the Add-on tab in the world customization GUI, enable river generation, and then tweak several settings to control river generation, including river rarity, depth, depth variation, and width/weight.

Server Usage

The following should be done in the server.properties file:

Set the 'levelType' field to 'modernbeta', without the quotes.
Set generation options in the 'generator-settings' field. You can create the generator options string using the in-game GUI.

How to Install Modern Beta Forge Rivers on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.12.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Modern Beta Forge Rivers". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
