Overview
The Modern Lucky Block mod provides the ability to create Lucky Block addons using only Datapacks for Minecraft 1.20.6+.

NOTE: Unlike the original Lucky Block Mod, the Modern Lucky Block Mod does not ship with a default Lucky Block addon. To download the base addon, go here.
NOTE: This mod is still in early development. Major changes will still be made, particularly in the structure of JSON files. Addon developers, please keep this in mind.

Why?
The original Lucky Block mod has not been updated in over a year, and is only available for Minecraft 1.20.2 and below. Furthermore, it does not take advantage of the modern tools that Minecraft provides, namely the Datapack system.

How to Install Modern Lucky Block on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Modern Lucky Block". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Modern Lucky Block server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Modern Lucky Block – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Modern Lucky Block consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
