About this Mod
Modifiable Damage
Does not need to be installed on Client
Ever wanted to make fall damage hurt less, without completely turning it off? Hate falling through powdered snow and being damaged by it, as soon as you spawn in? If not, maybe you want to make Hardcore harder by bumping everything up to the max?
Either way, Modifiable Damage allows you to easily update & change how much damage you take from certain sources, such as:
- Burning (damage when IN fire or ON fire)
- In Lava (separate from Burning)
- Touching Magma Blocks (seperate from Burning)
- Freezing
- Drowning
- Falling
- Starving
- General Damage (from Explosions, Mobs, etc.)
...all without the use of any commands or cheats!

Server lagging with Modifiable Damage – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Modifiable Damage consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
