Modular Force Field Systems
Modular Forcefield Systems is a mod designed to provide forcefields in minecraft. It is based on the old voltz mod mffs however it is updated to the newer versions of minecraft!

About this Mod
As of the 1st of June 2025, all future updates for ampz mods will require Voltaic API, and not Electrodynamics, in order to function. This update affects all the mods and brings world breaking changes, which are written in the changelogs. Note that this should however not corrupt your world. If you have such issues reach out on our discord channel!
MFFS intends to provide forcefield systems in Minecraft. Devices to protect your base from players, mobs, and even the friendly neighbor sheep!

How to Install Modular Force Field Systems on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Modular Force Field Systems". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Modular Force Field Systems server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Modular Force Field Systems compatible with forge and neoforge?
Modular Force Field Systems officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.20.1, 1.19.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Modular Force Field Systems – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Modular Force Field Systems consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
