About this Mod
This mod adds around 280 of blocks for every category. (11 categories for now) (More categories in future)
IMPORTANT ! The mod require Blackwolf Library to work !
The category for now are:
- Buttons
- Carpets
- Doors
- Fences and Gates
- Ladders (available since Minecraft 1.21.8 for Forge, Fabric and NeoForge)
- Pressure Plates
- Slabs
- Vertical Slabs (available since Minecraft 1.21.8 for Forge and NeoForge)
- Stairs
- Trapdoors
- Walls
The mod extracts textures from their respective vanilla Minecraft block. So they can be overriden with resource packs as usual.

It's compatible with: Just Enough Items (JEI)
To create these new blocks you must first create the Frame of a specific category. Below examples of the recipe.
You can use any blocks of the respective category from the vanilla game for the recipe. (For example: for Frame Door you can use a Wooden Door, for a Frame Trapdoor you can use Iron Trapdoor)
You can now use the Frame with a block whose texture you want. Below are some examples.

How to Install More Decorative Blocks on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "More Decorative Blocks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

More Decorative Blocks server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is More Decorative Blocks compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
More Decorative Blocks officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with More Decorative Blocks – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if More Decorative Blocks consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
