About this Mod
More Frogs adds a lot of new frog variants with unique features and drops when they eat Slime/Magma Cubes. Currently It adds the following variants with their respective drops.
SCULK FROG
Eats Small Slime to drop Sculk Blocks.
Spawns in the Deep Dark Biome.
POISON DART FROG (Special Drop)
Eats Small Slime to drop Mulch (Fuel, smelts 4 items per mulch).
Spawns in the Jungle Biomes.
WARPED FROG
Eats Small Magma Cubes to drop Shroomlight.
Spawns in the Warped Forest Biome in The Nether.
CRIMSON FROG
Eats Small Magma Cubes to drop Shroomlight.
Spawns in the Crimson Forest Biome in The Nether.
SPIRIT FROG
Eats Small Magma Cubes to drop Bone Meal.
Spawns in the Soul Sand Valley Biome in The Nether.
WOOD FROG
Eats Small Slime to drop Blue Ice.
Spawns in the Sub-Zero Land Biomes for example the Snowy Plains.
INFERNAL FROG
Eats Small Magma Cubes to drop Magma Blocks.
Spawns in the Basalt Deltas Biome in the Nether.
PURPUR FROG
Eats Small Magma Cubes to drop Chorus Fruit.
Spawns in the End Highlands Biome in the End.
ENDER FROG (Special Drop)
Eats Small Magma Cubes to drop Light At The End Blocks (Light Blocks).
Spawns in the The End Biome in the End.
DUSK AND DAWN (Special Drop)
Eats Small Slime to drop Skybox (Toggleable Light Blocks).
Spawns above y 256 in the Overworld.

You can override the food in
data\minecraft\tags\entity_types\frog_food.json
And you can also change the biomes they spawn in (except dusk and dawn) by overriding
data\minecraft\tags\worldgen\biome\spawns__variant_frogs.json
You can also override drops in
data\minecraft\loot_tables\entities\magma_cube.json
data\minecraft\loot_tables\entities\slime.json

Available Versions
How to Install More Frogs 2 on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "More Frogs 2". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

More Frogs 2 server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is More Frogs 2 compatible with fabric and forge and quilt?
More Frogs 2 officially supports fabric, forge, quilt for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.3. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with More Frogs 2 – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if More Frogs 2 consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
