About this Mod
About
Multiverse is a mod that adds rifts that transport entities to randomly generated dimensions.
1.18+ naturally only uses vanilla biomes but is also compatible with biomes added to the Overworld and Nether through TerraBlender.
1.21+ also supports End biomes added through TerraBlender.
If rifts are invisible because of custom shaders look for the "vanillaOnly" client config to disable the rift shaders.
Features
Rifts
Rifts are generated randomly with each color linking up to different dimension. Rifts may be incredibly dangerous and spawn over void or at a high height so be prepared.
The dimensions that rifts target can be configured with a data pack.

Generated Dimensions
Random dimensions can be generated when the server starts. The biomes, structure, and time cycle of each generated dimension is completely randomly set. The number of generated dimensions is limitless but dependent on server configs.

Items
It is recommended to use JEI in order to get item recipes.
The Traveler entity randomly spawns near rifts, drops a dimensional prism, and has a chance of giving the bounty effect on death.
The Conqueror entity spawns when a player enters a village with the bounty effect and drops a multiversal beacon.
Kaleidite cores can be thrown in order to spawn a random rift. It can also be thrown into a rift to destroy it.

Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Multiverse consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
