About this Mod
Customize player buffs while sound is playing.
By modifying the ../config/MusicPower/Config-SoundsEffect.json file, you can freely configure specific buffs to be given to players within a certain distance when a designated sound is played. This distance, along with the buff's duration and strength, can be customized. You can also set whether the buff's duration or strength decays with distance from the sound source.
You can use the commands /musicpower listsounds and /musicpower listbuffs in the game to list all sounds and buffs, helping you modify the configuration file. The listed content will be saved in the ../config/MusicPower/ directory as ListedSounds.txt and ListedBuffs.txt.
This mod can be compatible with the sound effects or effects of any other mod, such as the AddurDisc mod.

MusicPower server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

MusicPower officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with MusicPower – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if MusicPower consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
