MyHat (Trinkets)

A Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that turns the Carved Pumpkin into a fully functional wearable hat using the Trinkets > Head > Hat slot. When the pumpkin has a custom name, players can instantly equip it by right-clicking in the air or on blocks. The mod provides correct player-model rendering, plays an equip sound, and prevents renamed pumpkins from being placed as blocks (while still allowing placement in item frames).

Designed for creators who build custom hats using CIT/CEM and CIT Resewn, the mod lets you create the model and texture in a resource pack while it handles all behavior—equipping, rendering, and Trinkets integration.
An embedded datapack enables the hat slot and registers the Carved Pumpkin as a valid trinket, making everything work right out of the box.
