At the start of 2026 Mojang as release their first snapshot of the year. 26.1 Snapshot release 1. This snapshot has introduced a whole lot of new baby mob varients and a brand new nametag recipe. I have made this recipe into a datapack so you can have the recipe before it even comes out!

How to Install Nametag Recipe Update on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Nametag Recipe Update". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
