About this Mod
New in Box! is an entrant to ModFest: Toybox all about the boxes collectibles come in, without any of the expense normally associated with them. Or the collectibles. Because hey, sometimes the most fun part about a new toy is the box it comes in.

To get started, all you need to do is craft a Box out of paper, glass, and a diamond.
Once you have a Box, you’re pretty much set! You can either right click on mobs to capture them with it and build out your trophy room, or right click the Box to shrink down and climb inside.

How to Install New in Box! on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.8).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "New in Box!". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

New in Box! server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is New in Box! compatible with fabric and neoforge?

Server lagging with New in Box! – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if New in Box! consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
