No Enchant Cap enhances the vanilla enchanting system in a few ways:
Enchantments over level 10 or below level 1 will display their level correctly.
Anvils will no longer give the "Too Expensive" limit.
No Enchant Cap also provides a selection of gamerules which allow you to customize your enchanting experience.
You can mix any enchantments on the same item. (Off by default).
You can put any enchantment on any item. (Off by default).
Anvils can go above the usual max level of an enchantment. (Off by default).
Repair costs of items on anvils doesn't increase. (On by default).
Experience costs are done more fairly at high levels. (On by default).

How to Install No Enchant Cap on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.3).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "No Enchant Cap". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

No Enchant Cap server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is No Enchant Cap compatible with fabric and forge and quilt?

No Enchant Cap officially supports fabric, forge, quilt for Minecraft 1.19.3, 1.19.2, 1.19.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with No Enchant Cap – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if No Enchant Cap consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
