About this Mod

This mod replaces all uses of glow ink sacs with glowstone dust.

This includes recipes and making signs glow.
In addition, glow ink squids will now drop regular ink sacs instead of glow ink sacs.

This is useful when you feel that glow-ink sacs are a redundant addition to the game that takes up niche that belongs to glowstone dust.

You may freely use this mod in any modpack, as long as the download remains hosted within the Modrinth ecosystem.

You may also freely port this mod to a different version/modloader, as long as you reference the original mod and it is hosted within the Modrith ecosystem.

How to Install No Glow Ink Sacs on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "No Glow Ink Sacs". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
