About this Mod

No more light from Glow Lichen.

I was annoyed to see theese things in caves because they emit light that is unrealistic in caves and overall ruins the dark atmosphere of caves. Tried methods like shader options and resourcepacks to stop it from emiting light, but it didn't work, so I came up with a solution. With a little bit of trouble I created this extremely lightweight mod.

How to Install No Glow Lichen on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "No Glow Lichen". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
