About this Mod

ATTENTION: The mod may not work stably in online play.
NoTorchPlace is a client-side Fabric mod that stops you from placing torches (or any configurable item) when your total inventory count drops below a configurable threshold.
Never run out of light sources again — the mod blocks placement and shows a warning message when you're low.

Features

Configurable threshold — set the minimum item count (1-64) before placement is blocked
Custom item list — protect any item by its ID (default: minecraft:torch)
Toggle keybind — quickly enable/disable the mod with a keybind (unbound by default)

How to Install NoTorchPlace on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "NoTorchPlace". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
