About this Mod
🎨 NPotFixer
Fixes broken, blurry textures in modded Minecraft caused by NPOT (Non-Power-Of-Two) images.
Drop it in. Play. Done. 👊
🔧 What It Does
- ✅ Fixes blurry or broken textures caused by weird image sizes (like 37×19)
- ✅ Makes far-distance sprites look sharp again
- ✅ Drop-in ready - zero configuration
- ✅ Great for modpacks, custom textures, and Sodium users
🤔 Why It Matters
Many Minecraft mods use custom textures that don’t follow the power-of-two (POT) rule.
This breaks mipmaps and causes artifacts, especially when viewing from a distance.
NPotFixer automatically resizes and corrects these textures without touching the original files.

NPotFixer server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is NPotFixer compatible with fabric?
NPotFixer officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with NPotFixer – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if NPotFixer consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
