About this Mod
What Does it do?
This mod adds old blocks as new blocks instead of Retextures.
Why download this mod instead of a texture pack?
Downloading this mod means that your original textures wont be affected and the older blocks are added as completly independent blocks that can be mixed with other versions blocks. It also adds removed items/blocks like the ruby or the gear (gear still in development)
Known issues
The known issues with the mod are: some transparent blocks dont work properly, Gears Rendering like a normal block instead of a vine like block
From what versions are the blocks?
The mod contains blocks from the oldest versions (pre-classic) and currently has until Classic
Tool used to create the mod
This mod was made using MCreator.
Textures origin
block textures were made by mojang and are directly from terrain.png (except the glass test that is a recreation from a screenshot, also an exception is the easteregg block).

Please expect a few glitches and bugs since its still in development and its not finished (also feel free to modify the mod but give credit to the original mod)

How to Install Older blocks in newer versions on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Older blocks in newer versions". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
