Only Fight or Flight

Only Fight or Flight adds a simple and highly-configurable system similar to open-world sandbox rpgs where players cannot place blocks in the middle of a fight!

No more instant blockades or quick block bridging away during fighting! Discourage making holes and blocking their entrance as the ultimate strategy! Use to reinforce roleplay, make horror entities more dangerous, or just to try something new! Even contains configs for better fine-tuning!

To get into specifics:

Different actions will set the player into combat, in which case they will be unable to build blocks (or certain blocks) until a period of uninterrupt time has passed. Actions that trigger combat include:

• Dealing damage to a mob or player
• Taking damage from a mob or player
• Being targeted by a hostile mob close-by

Each action can set different lengths of combat time. All these times are configurable!
Other configuration includes:

• Whitelist any placeable blocks or set a blacklist to allow only certain blocks to be affected.
• Turn this feature off for certain mobs, or only only have it affect a selection of mobs of your choice.
• Option to enable in-combat effects when in proximity with mobs.

The mod also adds an optional ui icon for when you are in combat, and a reminder when you attempt to place a block!
