Optimized Mining
I always hated strip mining, there are some good mods that make your pickaxe break more blocks, but its either not for 1.12.2 or doesn't work, so here's a mod that works.

About this Mod
Optimized Mining

Adds an enchantment that lets a pickaxe, axe, or shovel break a whole area of blocks when you mine one.
What It Does (for the user)
- When you break a block with an enchanted tool, the mod automatically breaks all blocks in a cube around it.
- The cube size grows with the enchantment level (radius = level + 1).
- Broken blocks disappear instantly, without particles or sound.
- All drops from the broken blocks appear at the block you originally broke.
- Each block broken reduces the tool's durability by 1.
- The enchantment only works on tools that can normally harvest the block (pickaxes, axes, shovels) and does not affect bedrock or air.
- It can be applied up to level 5.
Features
- Area breaking triggered by normal block breaking.
- Silent removal of blocks, no visual or sound effects.
- Collected drops are placed at the original break position.
- Durability is still consumed for each block broken.
- Supports enchantment levels 1 through 5.
Why Use This Mod?
- Saves time by clearing out large sections with a single swing.
- Keeps your inventory tidy because drops appear in one spot.
- Compatible with vanilla Minecraft 1.12.2 and Forge.
What You'll Notice
- When you break a block with a pickaxe, axe, or shovel that has the area_dig enchantment, the mod breaks all blocks in a cube around that block.
- The broken blocks disappear instantly without particles or sound.
