Description

This mod allows you to stabilize the EMC value of items, preventing them from being transmuted.

To stabilize the EMC of an item, craft it together with the stabilization tape.

Craft it with the destabilization scissors to undo the stabilization.

NBT Tags can be added in the config, to stabilize any item with that tag permanently.

Contains omniwand:data and akashictome:data by default.

The stabilization items can also be completely disabled in the config, if you only want the nbt feature.

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.12.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Optional Equivalence compatible with forge?

Optional Equivalence officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.12.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Optional Equivalence – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Optional Equivalence consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
