About this Mod
OptionalFurnaceSmelting
When you add too many mods, it often happens that an item has multiple smelting recipes. The vanilla Minecraft furnace will only use the first matching smelting recipe.
This mod adds multiple furnace recipe compatibility, allowing you to selectively smelt an item into the desired output based on different smelting recipes.
Currently Supported Blocks
This mod is fully compatible with all standard Minecraft smelting blocks:
- Furnace
- Smoker
- Blast Furnace

For example, as shown in the image above, the Incubation and Farmer's Delight mods both add independent smelting recipes for vanilla eggs. This creates a conflict where the furnace would normally only smelt them into one of the mod's outputs, completely ignoring the other.
With OptionalFurnaceSmelting Mod, when the furnace detects that the input slot contains an item with multiple valid smelting recipes, a compact selection menu appears on the right side of the furnace GUI. This menu lists all possible smelting outputs for that item.
Simply click the icon of your desired output to select it actively. The furnace will then lock in your choice and smelt the item into exactly the product you want — no more recipe conflicts, no more unwanted surprises.
