About this Mod
This small project adds ore deposits, little stone mounds that infinitely generate ore on top. Ore deposits are similar to ore nodes from the game Satisfactory. They are designed to be used with factory mods but can work in vanilla. They can generate ores from mods, as long as the ore generates at or above y=8 (and if they are in the mod loader's ore tag). Ores spawn as falling blocks, so they can be broken in vanilla. All overworld ores can spawn as deposits, meaning it can break the progression of the game.
The ore that an ore deposits will spawn is determined when it is first loaded. It will scan its chunk and use the first ore that it finds that is at or above y=8.
Older versions of this project will not scan and are only compatible with vanilla and create.
You are free to use this in any modpack.
