About this Mod

Overground Ores is a simple mod that adds ore spawning to above ground areas in the overworld. The mod also increases spawn rates of ores in this scenario, in order to provide an experience similar to that of Hexxit. A configuration file is included so you can tweak these values to your heart's desire, and don't have to rely on my pre-determined values, that suit my purposes.

How to Install Overground Ores on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.12.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Overground Ores". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Overground Ores server crashes on startup – what to do?
