About this Mod

Currently the most detailed trains addon pack for FVTM!

1.12.2 -> Forge
1.20.1 -> Forge
26.1.+ -> Fabric

This pack/mod currently includes:

a diesel engine (loco1)
a steam engine (loco2)
a flatbed wagon (wagon1)
a box wagon (wagon2)
a tank wagon (wagon3)
a passenger wagon (wagon4)
a livestock wagon (wagon5)
a passenger wagon with cabin (cwagon1)

Every rolling stock is repaintable (white by default), ~~this pack also includes a few presets~~ (not on fvtm v4 yet).

Wagon2, Wagon4, Wagon5 and Loco2 have two colour channels (primary and secondary).
Wagon1, Wagon2 and Wagon3 have an inventory (item/fluid).
Wagon4 can transport players (and entities), Wagon5 can transport Animals.

How to Install Pack5pxt on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Pack5pxt". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Pack5pxt server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Pack5pxt compatible with fabric and forge?

Pack5pxt officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Pack5pxt – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Pack5pxt consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
