About this Mod

Parkour Calculator

A TAS input planning mod for Minecraft. Plan, simulate, and visualize parkour movement before you execute it.

The Parkour Calculator runs Minecraft's real movement physics tick by tick, so the path you see in the world is exactly how the player will move in game. It is not an approximation and there is no drift.

Video Showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XecddwRXxXU

Features

  • Tick-by-tick input planning: Set WASD, jump, sneak, sprint, and yaw for every tick.
  • Live path preview: The predicted path renders in the world as boxes and updates instantly as you edit.
  • In-world editing: Drag the start box to reposition, drag individual ticks to retune facing, and select single ticks or ranges.
  • Angle solver: Give it your inputs and constraints, and it computes the yaw angles that satisfy them. It keeps up with Wolfram on single jumps and can handle long solves up to roughly 850 ticks and 200 constraints in under 10 seconds.
  • Replay: Play your planned inputs in game, pause and resume mid-run, and keep the path and input table visible while replaying (works only in singleplayer).
  • Per-tick movement info: Motion, speed, and combined XZ distance for any tick.
  • Customizable rendering: Full control over colors and visualization, with tooltips on every setting.
  • Row operations: Add, delete, lock yaw, duplicate, reorder, and multi-select rows.
  • Save, load, and share: Plans are stored as JSON, so you can import and export TAS files with others.

Supported loaders

Frequently Asked Questions

ParkourCalculator server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is ParkourCalculator compatible with fabric and forge?

ParkourCalculator officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.21.10, 1.12.2, 1.8.9. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with ParkourCalculator – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if ParkourCalculator consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
