Particle Shield

A Minecraft Forge mod for 1.8.9 that removes particles near the player to reduce visual clutter.

Configuration

shieldSize: Minimum distance between player and particles (default: 1.4)
isShieldActive: Enable/disable the shield (default: true)

Config file: config/particleshield.cfg

Commands

/shieldsize <size> - Set the particle shield size (minimum distance from player)
/shieldtoggle - Toggle the particle shield on/off

Hotkey

Press J to open the mod config.

How to Install Particle Shield on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.8.9).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Particle Shield". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
