About this Mod
Patterned Mosaics is a vanilla+ decoration mod that brings beautiful mosaic patterns inspired by glazed terracotta to both stained glass and solid terracotta blocks!
Building on the popular Patterned Glass mod (full credit to thenamesnano/ReviversMC/tnoctua), this port adds:
Patterned Glass & Panes — All 16 colors of stained glass blocks and panes overlaid with classic glazed terracotta patterns. Rotate them to align and create stunning transparent mosaics, windows, or beacons with colorful effects.
New: Patterned Terracotta — Opaque solid blocks in all 16 colors, featuring upscaled 32x32 mosaic-oriented textures for richer detail and seamless tiling. Perfect for floors, walls, accents, or combining with glass for layered designs
Fully compatible with NeoForge 1.21.1, lightweight and designed to blend perfectly with vanilla while pairing amazingly with mods like Immersive Furniture, Macaw's windows/doors, or Create deco.

How to Install Patterned Mosaics on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.8).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Patterned Mosaics". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Patterned Mosaics server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Patterned Mosaics – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Patterned Mosaics consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
