About this Mod

Peaceful Nights

Adds the game rule "doSurfaceSpawning" which is false by default.

When disabled mob spawning behaves as if it was always day.
No mobs will spawn on the surface at night and during thunderstorms.

This only affects dimensions that have sky light, so the overworld, but not the nether or the end.

This also does not affect slime spawning in swamps.

How to Install Peaceful Nights on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Peaceful Nights". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
