About this Mod
This is a refreshed version of TeNNoX'es Planetoids mod
https://tennoxmods.blogspot.com/p/planetoid.html
It adds features such as:
- Possibility to choose if the floor under the world should be made of water or empty space to the void
- Config for planets probabilities spawning
I also have some Future plans:
- Fix spawning in the void/water on low spawntries?
- Different wood type planets(configurable like stone planets)
- Nether[maybe End] dimensions as planetoids
[1.12.2/1.14.4 versions]Fabric(or Forge) 1.18 rewrite- More customization options for the planets and GUI in the menu for the planet probability instead of the config file
- Villages & Strongholds Spawning? [maybe as special Planet types]
(But im by no means a pro modder, im not well known with Java, I code games in Unity(C#), and I just followed tutorials from youtube(that were hard to find because 1.7.10 is so outdated) )
Im a gamedeveloper, if you're interested check out my webpage https://hypergamesdev.github.io

Planetoid server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.7.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Planetoid compatible with forge?
Planetoid officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.7.10, 1.7.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Planetoid – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Planetoid consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
