Planting Dispensers
Vanilla dispensers are now able to plant seeds, saplings, netherwart and more, including crops from any mod!
About this Mod
🌱 Planting Dispensers
Bring organic, Vanilla+ automation to your farms! This lightweight mod upgrades the functionality of standard dispensers, allowing them to automatically plant seeds, crops, and saplings without the need for massive, complex redstone contraptions.
✨ Features
Comprehensive Vanilla Support: Dispensers can now plant standard seeds, root vegetables, Nether Wart, Saplings, Sugar Cane, Cactus, Sweet Berries, and Bamboo!
Smart Soil Detection: The mod utilizes Minecraft's native canSurvive() logic to check the soil before planting. This means seeds demand farmland, nether wart demands soul sand, and cactus demands sand—preventing players from illegally placing crops!
Aesthetic Freedom: You don't have to awkwardly hover your dispensers above your farm. You can place the dispenser facing the empty air directly above the soil, OR embed it in the wall facing the soil block directly.
Universal Mod Compatibility (Zero Config): Built with dynamic registry scanning, your dispensers will automatically know how to plant custom crops and saplings added by other mods (like Farmer's Delight) without you needing to change any configuration files!
⚙️ Clean Architecture
No Mixins Needed: This mod hooks directly into Minecraft's native OptionalDispenseItemBehavior registry. By avoiding mixins, it ensures absolute compatibility with other mods that interact with dispensers.
