About this Mod

🪴 PlantsControl — Clear Your View, Click Through Nature

PlantsControl is a lightweight mod that lets you selectively hide plant blocks from rendering, giving you a cleaner and clearer view while exploring, building, or PvPing.

The mod includes full hit‑through support — allowing you to attack mobs and break blocks through hidden plants.
A single‑player feature also lets you prevent selected plants from generating in the world, keeping your terrain clean from the start.

New in 1.5.0: Full server-side support — server operators can enforce mod usage, sync settings to all clients, and manage everything via in-game commands or GUI.

✨ Features

  • Selective plant hiding — Choose exactly which plants to hide from rendering.
  • Hit‑through — Attack mobs, mine blocks, and interact through hidden plants.
  • Prevent plant generation (single‑player only) — Stop chosen plants from spawning naturally in new chunks.
  • Server-side enforcement — Operators can require clients to have the mod installed and sync plant settings server-wide.
  • Permission-locked server GUI — Only operators can modify server settings.
  • Configurable kick delay — Set how long the server waits before kicking clients without the mod (2–30 seconds).
  • Zero performance impact — Lightweight and efficient.

Frequently Asked Questions

Plants Control server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Plants Control compatible with fabric?

Plants Control officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Plants Control – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Plants Control consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
