This mod is inspired by sync
Adds Shell Forges that allow players to create and transfer into new Shells - essentially new bodies with their own inventory, experience level, and even gamemode.
To create a Shell, you’ll first need to build a Shell Forge. Then, Shift + Right-click it to open it's creation GUI. Each Shell creation consumes 64 DNA, which you can obtain from the DNA Centrifuge and 1,000,000 FE (configurable) and takes about 10 minutes to complete (also configurable).
The DNA Centrifuge processes a blood-filled syringe to produce 1-6 DNA samples. To fill a syringe with blood, right-click while holding an empty syringe (this inflicts 4 hearts of damage).
Once you’ve built another Shell Forge, you can transfer your mind into any of your Shells. Simply right-click (without sneaking) a Shell Forge to go into it and open the radial menu, then select the desired Shell to transfer into.
Mind transfers work across dimensions, too! Also when you die, your consciousness will automatically transfer to the nearest available Shell, granting you an extra life, even in Hardcore mode.

Player Shells server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Player Shells compatible with neoforge?
Player Shells officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Player Shells – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Player Shells consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
