Players
Players will add the Minecraft characters into your game as their own persistent entities. Now the question is... will you defeat the dragon before THEY do?
About this Mod
THIS MOD IS CURRENTLY NOT MANAGED AND ISN'T AS FUNCTIONAL AS YOU'D EXPECT.
Introducing Players! It's a mod idea I had for a couple years and wasn't sure which path to take but recently I got a clear picture. Players will add the Minecraft characters into your game as their own persistent entities. They will be able to do everything a player does including finding their own preferred biomes, collecting resources, building, and more. These entities will self-load their own chunks meaning they will act live and you will receive their death messages. They will always respawn based of their last set bed or world spawn. There is a lot in to go with this mod and so far very few has been added but a lot of these have been tested.
Currently, they can track and collect items similar to an allay. If they have food in their inventory, they will eat when low on health to regenerate and if they have a weapon they will fight near monsters else flee. They will automatically equip armors, weapons, and totems if in their inventory when nearing battle. On death, their inventory will drop. You will also be able to access their inventories at any given time.
The idea for these entities as for them to behave similar to live players on multi-player servers but for single player. Now the question is... will you defeat the dragon before THEY do?
Do note this is an alpha and there ARE bugs.

Players server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Players compatible with neoforge?
Players officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Players – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Players consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
