About this Mod

Ever wondered what a Pokémon is weak to while playing Cobblemon or Pixelmon?
Pokémon Commands adds a set of simple commands that let you look up Pokémon types, weaknesses, resistances, and immunities without leaving Minecraft!

Features

  • /pokeinfo <pokemon> – Look up detailed information about a specific Pokémon. Shows its typing, weaknesses, resistances, immunities, Base Stats, Base Stat Totals, and the abilities it can have.
  • /weakness <type> – Check the effectiveness chart for a single type.
  • /weakness <type1> <type2> – Enter two types to calculate combined weaknesses, resistances, and immunities.
  • Both commands have aliases! /pinfo and /weak.

Notes

  • This is a utility mod – it doesn’t add Pokémon, only info commands.
  • Works great alongside Cobblemon or any other Pokémon-themed modpack.
  • Data comes from the official type chart and Pokédex entries.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Pokemon Commands – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Pokemon Commands consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
