About this Mod
Polydex
Polydex is a mod allowing you to see player-friendly information about
blocks and items on servers. It designed for survival-like, vanilla client
compatible servers using Polymer mods
or PolyMC, through it can be used
in modded or vanilla-content setting!
It can display tooltip (as a bossbar or sidebar) with basic information
about targeted block or entity similarly to mods like WTHIT/HWYLA/WAILA.
It also adds simple way of checking recipes of items with chest gui interface
inspired by mods like Roughly Enough Items / Just Enough Items.
It's configurable and bundles some api, so other mods can be compatible with it.
To use it, use modrinth maven™.

- Polydex Bridge - Did you want to use polydex-compatible mods, but you would prefer using EMI to view them? Then you will like this mod! Polydex Bridge bridges Polydexes recipe viewing with EMI, allowing for best client side experience. You need to install it on both side through, as otherwise it won't work!

How to Install Polydex on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2-rc-2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Polydex". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Polydex server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2-rc-2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Polydex compatible with fabric and quilt?
Polydex officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 26.2-rc-2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Polydex – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Polydex consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
