PvE Lag Compensation
A mod that makes high ping players suffer a lot less.
About this Mod

This mod improves PvE combat on multiplayer servers by making combat feel more responsive under ping. Attacks against mobs register more consistently, critical hits feel closer to singleplayer timing, and ghast fireball deflections are much more reliable.
The mod adjusts its compensation for each player individually based on their latency, so higher ping players get more help where they need it most. Server owners can also fine-tune how strong the compensation is through the config.
It is designed only for PvE and does not change PvP. It does not increase player reach or permanently enlarge entity hitboxes. The goal is simply to reduce the frustration of hits, crits, and fireball deflections failing because of lag.

PvE Lag Compensation server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is PvE Lag Compensation compatible with fabric?
PvE Lag Compensation officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with PvE Lag Compensation – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if PvE Lag Compensation consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
