About this Mod
![Are you on a Server with PVP but you don't want to participate?
-> Then PvPControl is your way to go.
This Plugin let's you control your PvP experience with disabling or enabling PvP for only yourself or another Player
/pvp on turns on PvP for yourself
/pvp off turns off PvP for yourself
/pvp toggle switches from you current state to the other (off -> on) (on -> off)
/pvp get the state of your current PvP setting
/pvp cooldown [seconds] sets the Amount of seconds a player has to be out of combat to disable his pvp state
/pvp message [chat/actionbar] sets the display for the system messages (trying to hit player with pvp off -> message in actionbar/chat)
/pvp [playername] gets the state of the players current set pvp setting
Admin
/pvp set [playername] [on/off] sets the state of another players current pvp setting

pvpcontrol.use -> for using the pvp command
pvpcontrol.other -> for viewing another players pvp setting
pvpcontrol.admin -> for changing config and managing player states

How to Install PvPControl on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set bukkit Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the bukkit loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "PvPControl". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

PvPControl server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong bukkit version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if PvPControl consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
