Quin
A vanilla++ mod with zero world gen, zero fuss
About this Mod
Quin; Zero world gen, Zero fuss
Quin is a vanilla++ mod full of random neat ideas, features, and more.
Quin's design philosophy is "Zero World Gen, Zero Fuss", meaning you can add it to an existing world without any need to re-generate it.
Content
Currently Quin has a few content additions:
A new wood set, "Driftwood", found in sunken ship chests, or (untested) fished as a part of fishing loot.
Tree Taps, Resin, Sap, and Syrup. Resin can be used to craft leads, fuel furnaces equal to half of one coal, Sap can be boiled in a smoker for Syrup, which can be eaten or turned into sugar.
Crystal Glass, ultra-transparent stained/tinted glass set, for use in a variety of builds.
Blast Glass, a heavy-duty glass resistant to explosions, comes with a crystal variant too!
More to come!

Quin server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Quin compatible with fabric?
Quin officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Quin – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Quin consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
