Allows editing the number of ticks of clear weather after rain/thunder and the number of ticks that rain/thunder will last.
About this Mod
Do you feel like it rains nearly every day, even after sleeping it away?
This mod provides configurable settings for rain and thunder while keeping the vanilla rain logic.
You can customize:
- Rain Delay (minimum and maximum ticks after rain naturally ends before another rain)
- Thunder Delay (minimum and maximum ticks after thunder naturally ends before another thunder)
- Rain Duration (minimum and maximum ticks for rain duration)
- Thunder Duration (minimum and maximum ticks for thunder duration)
The default config values change the rain and thunder delay from 0.5-7.5 days to 4-11 days, while leaving the rain and thunder durations alone.

How to Install Rain Delay on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Rain Delay". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Rain Delay server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Rain Delay compatible with fabric?

Server lagging with Rain Delay – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Rain Delay consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
